MAGICAL TEEPEE EVENTS
TERMS & CONDITIONS
BOOKINGS & SECURITY BOND
A $100 refundable security bond is required to secure your booking. This is separate from the hire price and is not deducted from your remaining balance.
The security bond must be paid within 24 hours of receiving your booking details. Unpaid booking requests do not secure your date and may be cancelled or released to other customers.
Bookings are only confirmed once the security bond has been received and availability has been approved by Magical Teepee Events.
PAYMENTS
The remaining hire balance is due no later than the day before your scheduled setup or DIY collection.
Payments are accepted via secure payment link or bank transfer.
All payments must be received in full before equipment is supplied or setup takes place.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled party date will receive a full refund of the security bond.
For cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled party date, up to $100 of the security bond may be retained to cover reasonable cancellation costs and losses, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Any hire payments already made will be refunded less any reasonable, applicable cancellation costs or losses, subject to Australian Consumer Law.
DATE CHANGES
Requests to change booking dates are subject to availability and should be made as early as possible.
Magical Teepee Events cannot guarantee availability for alternative dates.
HIRE PERIOD
Setup, collection and return times will be arranged and agreed upon before the event.
Equipment must be available for collection or returned at the agreed time.
Late returns may incur reasonable additional charges.
DIY HIRE
Customers booking DIY packages are responsible for collecting, transporting, setting up, packing down and returning all hired equipment.
A suitable vehicle with sufficient space is required for collection.
All equipment must be returned complete, clean, dry and undamaged.
Customers are responsible for ensuring equipment is transported and handled safely.
FULL STYLED SETUPS
The setup area must be completely cleared and ready before arrival.
Approximately 2 metres × 1 metre of clear floor space is required per teepee, plus additional space for walkways.
Safe and reasonable access and parking must be provided for unloading and collection.
Stairs, difficult access or other restrictions must be disclosed before booking.
Magical Teepee Events does not provide setups in high-rise apartments or apartment blocks.
TRAVEL
Additional travel charges may apply depending on the event location.
Any applicable travel fees will be confirmed before the booking is finalised.
EQUIPMENT CARE
All teepees, bedding and accessories are intended for indoor use only.
To protect the equipment:

No pets on bedding or hired equipment.

No smoking, candles or open flames near equipment.

Avoid slime, glitter, face paint, nail polish, pens, markers and other products that may cause permanent stains or damage.

Food and drinks should be kept away from bedding and decorative items wherever possible.
Customers are responsible for taking reasonable care of all hired equipment throughout the hire period.
CLEANING, DAMAGE & MISSING ITEMS
Standard laundering and cleaning are included in the hire price.
Customers are responsible for loss, damage, missing items and excessive staining beyond fair wear and tear.
Reasonable cleaning, repair or replacement costs may be deducted from the refundable security bond.
Where reasonable costs exceed the $100 bond, additional charges may apply.
Customers will be advised of any deductions or additional charges.
SAFETY & SUPERVISION
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult throughout the event.
All equipment must be used safely and only for its intended purpose.
Customers are responsible for maintaining a safe environment during the hire period.
Teepees, decorative accessories and lighting must not be misused or altered.
SECURITY BOND REFUNDS
The $100 security bond will be refunded following the return, collection and inspection of all hired equipment.
Any reasonable charges for damage, missing items or excessive cleaning may be deducted from the bond.
Refunds will be processed as soon as reasonably practicable following inspection.
BUSINESS CANCELLATIONS
If Magical Teepee Events is unable to fulfil a booking, customers will receive a full refund of all payments made, including the security bond.
This does not limit any additional rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available to customers under Australian Consumer Law.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS & CONDITIONS
By submitting a booking request and proceeding with payment, customers acknowledge that they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions, subject to their rights under Australian Consumer Law.
